Message from Dick

Hi all,
I have long argued that anchor swivels have no significant place in facilitating ground tackle effectiveness and have significant, albeit usually rare, down-sides. One danger has been apparent for years: attaching the swivel directly to the anchor. One has been, until recently, speculated: corrosion in salt water (see right at the onset of a long video at 26 seconds or so) (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=997T38ZgJ7w).
My best, Dick Stevenson, s/v Alchemy
