The Forum, Facebook groups, and WhatsApp groups all have a role in sharing information, providing advice and discussing cruising issues. The advantages of using the Forum are that posts are topic based rather than simply regionally based, easily searchable, don't disappear in a long stream of unrelated posts, and draw in members who are not fans of mainstream social media but do have vast knowledge and experience of cruising matters. I hope this is a renewal of our fantastic OCC Forum

Hi Bill, It is easiest for me to have the most recent posts pop up front and center. I can then respond if I have something to contribute. I doubt I will look through each Forum topic to see whether there is a new post. Dick Stevenson, s/v Alchemy

Hello Dick - I like to have view the posts filtering on the most recent as well. This can be accomplished by clicking on the words "Recent Posts" in the menu in the header. I hope this helps. - Bill W

Hello again Dick - You can also subscribe to a Topic so that are notified of any other contributions to the Topic. This can be done by selecting "watch this topic for replies". You will receive an email if someone replies. - Bill W
